Anglican rosaries, also referred to as Anglican prayer beads or Protestant prayer beads, have a thirty-three bead design, and although relatively new, the Anglican rosary draws inspiration from ancient Orthodox prayer ropes and Dominican rosaries. Similar to gathering rocks in one’s pocket, practicing centering prayer, or walking labyrinths, the primary intent of rosaries are to help one enter and remain in contemplative prayer. If you are interested in learning a more focused prayer life, join us for a virtual workshop and learn how to make, as well as ways to pray with, an Anglican rosary. Registration is required before September 28 and the $10 fee will cover the cost of supplies needed to participate.
