THE WHOLE GOSPEL FOR THE WHOLE WORLD

We believe in the whole gospel for the whole person and all of creation. The church’s mission is to tell the Story of the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ to every person in every culture.

SPOTLIGHT: KIDS CLUB

Creating welcoming places of belonging and connection, where we joyfully share the love of Jesus with the children in the St. Johns community.

WAYS TO GET INVOLVED

Weekly Kids Club

Read the Bible story in Spanish or English– each week kids hear a Bible story. The story is planned in advance. We always need someone to read it in Spanish, and recently, there has also been a need for someone to read it in English.

Lead the craft – if the person who plans the craft can’t attend, we need a different person to lead it.

Provide pizza – each week, the kids enjoy pizza at the end of their time together. Kids club depends on volunteers to provide the pizzas. The good news is that to provide pizza, you don’t need to be there. You can order ahead and communicate with the team about when the pizza will be delivered.

Plan the craft – if you enjoy art or creating, this role is for you. While you can plan the craft and also be there to lead it, if you can’t make it, you can plan a craft, provide supplies and directions, and coordinate with a lead to get the materials to them prior to Wednesday night.

Celebrations

Plan and/or attend Seminannual Birthday Party– on 10/4, we will hold a birthday party at the apartments for kids celebrating birthdays from July to December.

Plan and/or attend annual Christmas Party– holding a Christmas Party at the apartment complex has become a Kids Club tradition. You’re all invited to attend, but we also need a group of people to plan it.  We need help planning this party, and we’ll also need volunteers to help celebrate on the day of the event.
