During Lent, we focus more intentionally on the practice of almsgiving; donating money, goods, or time to the poor and performing acts of charity as a sign of repentance and love. This year, we'll engage in this practice by creating welcome kits to meet the tangible needs of newly arrived refugee families. You can gather supplies and assemble kits as a household, individually, as a neighborhood group, with your child's school, and drop them off in the lobby on 3/22 or 3/29.
