Dear church,

If there’s a fair amount of “TL;DR” in your life, let me make sure not to bury the lead! This Sunday I want to invite you to attend either the 9AM service or the 10:15AM service.

Beginning promptly at 10:15AM, we’ll hold our Annual Parish Meeting, after which the 11AM worship service will begin in earnest. Everyone is invited - this is a significant snapshot of life together!

If you have gone through the process to become a member of Church of the Cross, we need your presence and your discernment in the form of a vote as we invite Rachel Hayes to serve on the Parish Council.

In the ebb and flow of life together, it is not uncommon to have one week bleed into another. So frequently it is as if we are standing in front of a pointillist painting, a masterpiece, but only allowed to stand 6 inches in front of it. Annual Meetings are a time when we take a collective step back and the individual dots aren’t merely (beautiful) splashes of color, but take on a particular form. 

During the meeting we’ll look back at the past year and anticipate the year ahead, both in story and with the presentation of the budget for the year ahead. You won’t want to miss it.
