Weekly News | 3.20.26
This is our final week, and we will engage in Visio Divina. Whether you’ve tracked along or not, we invite you to jump in with us.
As you begin, take a few deep breaths as a means of giving God our full attention. Invite the Holy Spirit to speak to you afresh.
Spend some time looking at the image.
Notice the man.
What feelings do you imagine him having? To what degree of intensity? Is he making any sound?
Read Ezekiel 37:1-14.
Notice Ezekiel. How might he have felt? What sounds do you hear in this passage?
Reflect on the passage, and look again at the image.
Ask the Lord, “What do you want me to hear today?” Invite him to connect what you’re seeing and hearing with your life as it stands today. Is there an invitation he has for you?
Pray.
What do you want to say to God?
The Collect
Closing your prayers, join with the global and historic church in praying the Collect for this Sunday:
The Fifth Sunday In Lent
Almighty God, you alone can bring into order the unruly wills and affections of sinners: Grant your people grace to love what you command and desire what you promise; that, among the swift and varied changes of this world, our hearts may surely there be fixed where true joys are to be found; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
